For those interested, the links takes you to a page where you can monitor some various radio feeds. Most of these are Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue, and Amateur Radio operations.

As always, the hams are very busy where this Hurricane is predicted to make landfall. I would suspect that someone of them will go offline tomorrow morning, if not all of them. It takes power to provide the streams.

Two of our active members are located in Florida. Christopher Britton resides in Okaloosa County, Pensacola area which is at the far west side and currently not in a danger zone according to predictions. However, we did discuss that it is possible this storm will misbehave those predictions, and he could be in the path of nasty!

Commander192 resides at Broward County, which is in the warning zone. Broward is located along the east coast, just north of Ft. Lauderdale. He is a HAM Radio operator and involved with local emergency management.  I feel bad, because the last hurricane took out his antenna and it took in a good long while to get it put back up. But, a silly antenna is the least of my concerns. I am in hopes everyone remains safe in this.

When I see a Rabbit run into a bush and come out the other side I think to myself "That lucky bastard!"
