Man, the title of this "lands stolen R22 Safely?" is very misleading. I was thinking, if he can't put down an airplane, how could he possibly put down a Robinson R22 in one piece? :D

Gotta watch for that "bringing the aircraft in for a hard landing on Orcas Island". Looks like a hobby/lifestyle of his. One of these days he might just get a little unlucky. |

Seems if he is on an island he would be easier to catch, they should let me coordinate operations... He would be captured in 36 hours. Unfortunately Law Enforcement have rules and protocol to abide by that kinda ties there hands behind there back at times.
He is on a island...
Police Checkpoints on every road leading off the island, tighter security at all airfields, bring in the coast guard to check all boats within 5 miles of the island. That right there leaves only one way for him to get off the island....Swim....
Let me at em'... Let me at em'!!! Let me know when there is a bounty on his head....

Last week, an anonymous donor had offered $50,000 to Harris-Moore, the so-called "Barefoot Bandit," to surrender by 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to an Edmonds lawyer who is handling the offer. The lawyer, Jim Johanson, said that he would represent Harris-Moore, 19, free of charge as part of the arrangement. If Harris-Moore were to take the offer, he could keep the money, although there might be some costs associated with his legal defense, Johanson said.
The deadline passed Tuesday with no sign of Harris-Moore.
Harris-Moore has been wanted by authorities since April 2008 following his escape from a Renton halfway house, where he was serving time for burglarizing Camano Island homes. Since then, he has successfully avoided law enforcement while being blamed for a series of thefts, including boats, airplanes and luxury cars, and breaking into homes and businesses.

Yeah that is pretty silly. He and his family stand to make a whole lot more with Movie/Book rights. But I think they ought get a court order in place that prevents that. Oh, and I read what you posted a while back Chatt check all boats within 5 miles of the island Grin.. Thousands.. LOL |
